Good article Levonne. I want to be a mocking bird. Did a little of that last year. Left Texas during most of the heat & went onto the north! :)

Three years ago, my life partner John and I set out to relocate from the Southwest to Central Coast California. The Great Recession of 2008-2009 was in full swing when we took the bull by the horns and determined to live life our way.

Our dream was to find nurturing work in a coastal community that we would love. Last year (2012), we accepted the fact that conditions were not right for us to settle down in California.

Come along with John, Gingee (our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) and me as we continue to make use of The Jazz (our thirty-foot fifth-wheel trailer) to create a snowbird lifestyle. We'll seek fulfillment in the land of maple leaves (British Columbia, Canada that is) and beloved parts of California.
